The Presenting Issue:

Shifting from a founder led business to an executive led business and co-creating a strategy that the Board and senior team could buy into.

What we did: As a new CEO was coming in, we worked with the founders and CEO to design and facilitate a strategic offsite where all would be clear on their new respective roles and responsibilities going forward in line with their shared strategic objectives. After a robust diagnostic with the individual board members, the offsite was delivered in line with the various expectations to help the group coalesce and agree priorities.


Outcome:

We built strong relational foundations to address the trickier dynamics of holding on and letting go, trust and reward issues. Through a carefully curated design of the 2 days, we created transparency and alignment on issues previously avoided. A tangible strategic plan for the new leadership was developed to take forward.
